What is ionizor? Let me quote a recent article about positive ions and negative ions and what they do to your health and well being, in Good Health Magazine, July 2010 issue: Negative ions also have been shown to help treat winter blues, possibly because they increase levels of serotonin in the system. The magazine further explains, I quote, "to rebalance things take a regular showers (running water generates high levels of negative ions), open windows to let out chemical fumes and, if you can, invest in an ionizor, which will send levels soraring." Ionizor generates negative ions.

I haven't been on my allergy pills ever since. I started my haunting down of a good ionizor... The rest is history. A few quilters who have tried this lamp have been thrilled by it! It is absolutely magnificent for the soft day-like light it offers plus the negative Ion it releases and UV light - the latter are the latest health buzz words that purifies air by grabbing ultra light dust in the air (It keeps at bay my allergy to lint and dust - a terrible thing to have for a passionate quilter).  On top of all that, it looks so smart! It has a sensor to tell you when you need to turn the light on when it is too dark for reading and sewing, the beautiful pyramid on the base will start to glow.

I am designing a special carry bag for it so I can take it everywhere with me when I sew. Light size: 25cm x 8cm; base size 15cm round bas by 12cm high; The total dimention of the lamp folded is slightly larger than the OTT light quilters carry around. But not heavier.
