Dear Liuxin,
First, I would like to thank you for your wonderful technique. I am new to the world of quilting and tried traditional rocking method. All I got were poor stitches and sore fingers. I am so glad I discovered your web site. After receiving the essential quilting package and making good progress, I soon realized I needed your hands free hoop and silver thimble. You were spot on about the size in your video. The plastic ML was a tiny bit too small and the L was far too big. The ML silver cone thimble is perfect. It has a special spot in a velvet bag in my sewing basket when I am not using it, which is not as often as I would like!
I have only been practicing for a couple weeks but my stitches are getting better every day. The cotton satin(?) and the wool batting also make a huge difference, which gets me to my second comment (question): is the fabric that came with the package the same cotton satin you sell on your web site? It needles like a dream!
Again , I can't say enough how pleased I am with the DVD and book. Thanks, ThimbleLady!
