What is Thimblelady Friends about?
It is about better sharing and better buying through Fair Trading!
It is a broad alliance of all creative sewers (quilt making in particular), bond by one common principle: Fair Trading to encourage honest sharing. We aim at creating a circle of likeminded Friends to help each other honestly and be appreciated and awarded for our talent and sincerity.
It is an inclusive system:
1. It doesn't matter which particular aspect(s) of creative sewing you prefer. At Thimblelady, you can learn everything and share. You can specialize, cross fields and techniques as you please.
2. It doesn't matter whether you are new or would like to just make simple quilts or want to excel and make artistic quilts and finest quilt evern existed. Thimblelady Friends is about how to achieve what you want and/or share what you want honestly. Without the basic of fair trading, who wants to share real skills that will power you to realize your dreams?! Or to discover how much better you can be?!

Who is a Thimblelady Friend?
If you have been taught by Thimblelady and values her openness and generosity in sharing with you her talents/skills that is her livelihood, then Thimblelady’s Friends is for you!
Friends do not compete against Friends.
Friends do not profit at Friends’ expense.
Friends do not cheat on Friends, but share fairly and openly.

Why a Club?
Fair and open sharing that protects the interests of both teacher and students is the only way and the right way to share. We take the risk of innovation and share our talents only if you are willing to reward innovators.
In order to keep true sharing affordable for all Friends, Thimblelady is initiating this Private Club as an honest environment for sharing.
Terms and Conditions for Club members:
- I, upon signin up the membership of Thimblelady Club of Friends, accept all information inside a Friend Exclusive shared within the Club belongs to the Club. No give away or resale of information to non-friend who have not committed to the fair trading agreement. Information and skills aquired as Friends can be shared with Friends after a friend officially become a Friend.
- I, as a Friend, recognize that the fees for learning and original designs are set for personal use. Therefore, I shall not disclose any information and skills acquired as Thimblelady Friends to non-Friends or outside Thimblelady Club of Friends.
- I understand failing to keep the Club information within the Club will jeopodize the reward to fellow Friends who have paid and worked for their fair share. Therefore, I accept a non-compete agreement after the expiry date of an annual membership.
- I, as a Friend, will refer teaching inquiries to my fellow Friends who teaches as Friends or Thimblelady Authorized Tutors.
- $50/financial year (1st of July - 30th of June).
How to join the Club?
- Online: Click here to Sign Up (Choose accept the terms and conditions), then go to checkout to pay for your membership fee. The link to the Sign up button is at www.thimblelady.com.au/subscription Central, and click on the Friends of Thimblelady button.
- By phone: call 0291447207 with your contact details and credit card.
- By mail: send a cheque or money order or credit card details with your contact details.
- At the Shop (Club): currently between 1st -7th of every month.
When is the best time to join? Any time for learning. Or the time you want to make an online purchase to benefit Friends discount shopping; And, the time you want to use our DIY robotic long arm machine for free tuition.

Friends ID: upon signing up as a Friend online, you will also get a temporary ID (download/print it) from your online account (the same as buying an e-pattern). Bring that ID with you to shows or shop or retreats for shopping at the 10% discount on everything. Plus further discount on our bulkbuy exclusive to Friends who teach. - we count on the ID to identify you.
A proper ID card (like a beautiful credit card) will be mailed to every Friend after signing up. Keep the ID(s) even after the expiry date. Because we count on the number of IDs you have to tell your seniority among Friends. The loyalty of Friends counts. Only true friends can withstand the test of time.
The ID is also identification for fellow Friends to identify you.
