Please note the major changes in our teaching schedule: 

The more I work on the video teachings, the more future I see in online teaching! We are in full drive creating video classes right now. So far, only the quilting and applique classes and jacket making classes seem more complexed to teach online,  I'll continue to teach these three classes at the shop until I figure out how to "catch you in action" online. So you can book hand quilting and hand applique and jacket making classes.

The rest subjects are better taught online at a much cheaper cost if you have internet access so you have an extra choice of learning. Those of you who prefer to do classes face to face can come to our shop to do hands on classes. Make sure you do try our online classes even if it may sound daunting for a start. The shop will gradually become a hands on trouble shooting place along with the inevetable development of online teaching.

A flexible tuition with me is designed to help you trouble shoot any individual problems whenever and if ever you need. The tuition is held throughout the week from Tuesday -Saturday on an hourly rate of $40/hour, minimum one hour, max two hours/day - your time working on your project at the shop is free of charge. Make your booking before you come.

Sunday, the shop opens if a class is scheduled. Monday, shop closes so I can get a real day off/week.

Thimblelady Staple classes on skill building:
1. Hand Quilting Class ($80 incl a class kit).
2. Needle Turn Appliqué Class ($80 incl a class kit).
3. New Jacket making Class ($120/two days plus a jacket kit of $98).

4. New! Project Tuition ($40/half day or $80/day) on Saturdays and during weekdays. It is the same price for weekday tuitions or classes. Booking is essential.

Note: Valued customer vouchers can be used to book classes, tuitions and DIY Qbotting.

Plan for 2010: Join Thimblelady Saturday stitching group and meet once a month at our new shop: $100/year (10am -3pm). Bring your own lunch. Sew hand sewing project and ask Liuxin for help if you need. No bitching. Phone the new shop number to join or join online.
